ielts করতে কি যোগ্যতা লাগে
আপনি ১৬ বছর অথবা তার বেশি বয়সী হলেই IELTS পরীক্ষায় অংশগ্রহণ করতে পারবেন। IELTS এর সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তথ্যটি হচ্ছে, একবার IELTS এর অংশগ্রহণ করার পর সেই পরীক্ষার সার্টিফিকেটের মেয়াদ দুই বছর হবে।
ielts এর সুবিধা কি
- সার্টিফিকেট থাকলে বিদেশের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে ভর্তি হওয়া অনেক সহজ হবে। বিশেষ করে আমেরিকা, ইংল্যান্ড, কানাডা, অস্ট্রেলিয়া, ও নিউ জিল্যান্ডে।
- আন্তর্জাতিক কোম্পানিতে কাজ করার জন্য ইংরেজি জানাটা অনেক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। IELTS সার্টিফিকেট থাকলে আপনার চাকরি পাওয়ার সুযোগও বাড়বে।
- ইংল্যান্ড, কানাডা ও অস্ট্রেলিয়ার মতো দেশগুলোতে ইমিগ্রেশনের জন্য IELTS প্রয়োজন। সেখানে স্থায়ীভাবে বসবাস করতে চাইলে এটা আপনাকে অনেক সাহায্য করবে।

লিসেনিং, রিডিং ও রাইটিং পরীক্ষার জন্য আপনি ২ ঘণ্টা ৪০ মিনিট পাবেন। স্পিকিং পরীক্ষাটি হয়ত ওই দিনই হবে না হয় পরের সপ্তাহ ভিতরে হয়ে থাকে।

তবে ঘটনা হলো
মনে করুন কোন বিশ্ববিদ্যায়ে আইইএলটিএস স্কোর ৬ হলেই আবেদন করা যায়। কিন্তু তারা ১০ জন ছাত্র নেবেন যেখানে আবেদন করেছে ১৫ জন এর তাদের মধ্যে ১১ জনের স্কোর ৭, তাহলে আপনার ৬.৫ স্কোর কে কি তারা গুনবে?
আবার দেখা গেল যে সেই ১৫ জনের প্রথম ৬ জনের ৬.৫ আছে বাকিদের আছে ৬.০০, ৫.৫ কিংবা ৫.০০ তাহলে কি ?
তাহলে একাডেমিক বোর্ড সিদ্ধান্ত নেবে যে তারা তাদের ব্রান্ড স্কোর ৬ মেনেই চলবে নাকি যেভাবেই হোক ১০ জন পূরণ করবে।
তাই যত গুড় তত মিস্টি তেমনি যত IELTS বেশি স্কোর তত ভাল।
